Began the day with a Bell’s Vireo/Willow Flycatcher survey on the San Gabriel River. No flycatchers, but plenty of vireos. Plus, this juvenile White-tailed Kite. I never mind seeing them and it’s a good bird for this location I’ve birded many many times.

Back at home, a Pin-tailed Whydah at the feeder was cool. I’ve seen a male and female a few times in the yard, but this was the first time I got a decent photo. Those damned goldfinches are pigs.
